CSA Cables

CSA Type ACIC multiple-conductor armoured control and instrumentation cables comply with CSA C22.2 No. 239. They have a voltage rating not exceeding 1000 V and intended for installation in accordance with CSA C22.1, Canadian Electrical Code, Part I. Unarmoured versions are also available and are called Type CIC.

CSA Type TC single and multi-conductor cables comply with CSA C22.2 No. 230. They are without metal sheath or armour, and suitable for use in cable trays and other applications when installed in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I. CSA constructions that may be TC-rated include Type RW90 and CIC.

Cathodic protection cables are used for underground DC power supply feeder to cathodic protection systems for pipelines, storage tanks, and other buried or submerged structures. It provides the electrical connection between the anode and the metal structure being protected. They are insulated and optionally armoured with jacket to withstand harsh environments.
