ShawFlex's Cathodic Protection cable is a Type II high molecular weight medium density polyethylene construction offering superior abrasion and corrosion resistance. These cables are designed to provide protection by acting as a DC feeder cable to electrically charged metallic structures. The negative potential applied to these structures offsets the natural effects of electrolysis and corrosion which would otherwise occur.
